Money Marketing Financial Services awards 2007 and 2008
Tenet once again picked up the top prize for ‘Best network/support service’ at the prestigious MoneyMarketing Financial Services Awards 2008, for amongst other things ‘continuing its leading edge commitment to supporting IFAs getting on with what they do best – advising clients’.
The industry judging panel stated that they were impressed with Tenet’s varied initiatives across the different market areas, which they felt to be of a very high standard. Below are some of the areas where we received particular comment:
- Tenet’s core compliance offering was said to be as comprehensive as they get, boasting 24hr access to support through its member/client extranet
- The planned launch of its own fund management division, Sinfonia Asset Management was felt to set Tenet apart from its competitors
- Tenet was said to have shone over its approach to the Retail Distribution Review, with chief executive Simon Hudson an active participant in the FSA work stream and Aifa taskforce for forming a practitioner focus group, consisting of representatives from member firms

IFA Online Awards, November 2007

Tenet was delighted when its extranet was voted Best Online IFA Community at the recent IFA Online awards, with judges commenting that “it was hard to spot anything that was missing from the impressive amount of support and information on this site.”
The judges said that “Tenet Group’s secure extranet site had fantastic facilities to engage advisers in every aspect of their business. The ‘members only area’, gives a true community feel, where you can get everything needed to run your day to day business.”
An important element of the panel’s decision was the fact the site was kept well up to date. “You could see that the information you were accessing was the latest information available. This is an important consideration for advisers and one that will no doubt keep them coming back to the site.” The services offered also mirror the contemporary feel of the site. “The site had incorporated the latest thinking into the tools offered. Logos and designs of marketing material on offer felt fresh with today’s advisers in mind and what they needed to attract business,” commented the panel.
