Sinfonia launch non-advised ISA process

Sinfonia Asset Management has developed a simple, non-advised investment process

Leeds-based Sinfonia Asset Management has developed a simple, non-advised investment process to save all IFAs time and money during the forthcoming ISA season.

Participating advisers can create dedicated individual websites - branded with their own logos and imagery - enabling their clients to complete a step-by-step online application in as little as 10-15 minutes. In the event that a client has no internet access, there is a parallel paper-based process.

There is also a simple transfer facility, to allow clients to consolidate their ISAs.

The personalised websites will offer clients information on three different funds: a low risk 'cautious' option, a 'balanced' medium risk scheme and an 'active' alternative for adventurous investors. Each is actively managed on a daily basis.

Offering maximum tax efficiencies for both the 2009/10 and 2010/11 tax years, the initiative will give IFAs the opportunity to engage with existing and potential new clients, whilst earning up to five per cent, plus trail commission.

“This process can be used by all IFA firms and is designed to make both clients’ and advisers’ lives easier. In addition, it will help combat the banks’ continued desire to poach clients from IFAs,” commented Sinfonia managing director, Andy Richards.

“The ISA season can be an extremely busy period for IFAs, often involving a disproportionate amount of administration for very little reward,” he continued. “To counter that, Sinfonia’s new system offers market-leading cost-effectiveness as well as the opportunity for them to expand their customer base.”
