Big Names On Agenda At 2010 'Virtual PDM'

Issued: 25 June 2010

Tenet's 2010 virtual Professional Development Meeting will be broadcast live over the internet on Wednesday 30 June

Tenet's 2010 virtual Professional Development Meeting will be broadcast live over the internet on Wednesday 30 June: split into six 'expert pane' style sessions and featuring an impressive list of leading names from the financial sector.

Amongst the line up will be Martin Brookes, director of the Prudential’s Portfolio Management Group; Justin Urquhart Stewart, director & co-founder of Seven IM; Skandia chief investment officer, James Millard; Dr Peter Williams, head of industry development at Aegon and Scottish Widows 'pensions guru', Ian Naismith, to name but a few.

Designed to be accessible, convenient and above all, informative, the easy-to-view event allows advisers the flexibility to participate from start to finish, or dip in and out of the specific sessions most relevant to them.

Registration takes less than a minute (via www.asset.tv/prereg/?tenet), giving access to panel discussions on the global economy, the investment market, taxation, RDR, pensions and protection, along with the opportunity to put ‘live’ questions direct to industry experts.

Tenet was the first IFA group to introduce the virtual PDM concept back in January 2008, enabling advisers to view the event from the comfort of their home or office and allowing multiple viewers from one business.

Keith Richards, Tenet's group distribution and development director comments: "this year's event marks the halfway point in the company’s 2010 professional development programme of 130 PDMs, roadshows and specialist workshops, covering all key business and advice areas for both investment and non-investment advisers.

"The virtual PDM complements our face-to-face events conducted throughout the year and will subsequently be available via Tenet's client extranet for those advisers who were unable to log in on the day or where individuals simply wish to refer back to it for reference or training purposes."
