Due to the unprecedented nature of the Coronavirus spread across the country, Tenet has taken the necessary steps in accordance with government advice to close its offices and require all employees to work from home where possible. The story started in the 1980s, but it was in 1992 when things really started to take shape when the M&E Network was launched. Designed with the needs of financial advisers in mind, M&E Network connected advisers and provided expert support and tailored services at a time when they needed it the most due to new regulation enforcing them to choose whether to be tied or independent.
The Group continued to be successful and, in 1999, it acquired Interdependence Ltd (a company with a similar offering to M&E) and launched the Tenet Group. Tenet utilise the expertise of providers and fund managers, to create a valuable event; giving key industry insights, technical guidance and sales support. The purpose of these events is to provide a higher level of education, through the use of case studies and planning scenarios to provide you with a greater understanding of each product and a proposition's place in the market.
These events will focus on the protection market. With Tenet and the industries focus in this area, they are designed to meet advisers' development needs and provide a valuable insight into this market. All of the sessions at these events will offer IDD CPD, and are open to advisers, paraplanners and admin staff. Our Provider partners will also look at other ways you can obtain further IDD CPD.

These events will include the opportunity for advisers to network and will conclude with sessions from Tenet's Senior Management and Tenet Adviser Training.
Tenet will run 4 Invest, and 4 Lend Business Focus Events in 2020. These events will provide you with key updates on the market and the industry as a whole, including product development.
These events give you the opportunity to network with your colleagues from local firms, discuss key relevant issues with Tenet and providers and understand the challenges that other advisers are facing. These events differ to our other events, as we limit the groups to 20 advisers. This offers a lot more opportunity for interaction with other advisers. We find the sessions generate a lot of discussion, debate and the sharing of ideas. The additional benefit to these events is the social aspect of dinner in the evening, which is included complimentary on behalf of Tenet.
