A fantastic opportunity for a Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join an independent financial services business located in Liphook, East Hampshire.
You'll be joining an independent financial advice practitioner company which takes pride in tailoring their service to each individual client’s needs, providing help with mortgages, pensions and investments, protection and inheritance tax planning. For the successful candidate there may also be the opportunity to be developed towards becoming an Independent Financial Advisor.
As this is a self-employed position you can choose to be home based or work from the office.
Working alongside a team of experienced financial advisers and mortgage and protection advisers you will work on building and maintaining your own book of clients, offering an excellent service and keeping TCF principles at the heart of everything you do. The firm can provide a certain amount of leads from orphan clients but it would be preferable if you could bring at least a small, existing client bank upon which to build.
You will be responsible for reviewing the mortgage and protection requirements across a wide range of clients, providing research of the market and identifying suitable products.
This is a self-employed role, the client typically offers an 80/20 split depending on your experience, the client portfolio you can bring to the business and your level of experience and expertise in the market.
- Provide on-going advice to clients through developing your network;
- Pro-actively maximise the potential of every lead while providing suitable advice for clients;
- Ensure compliance and adherence to relevant legislation at all times.
Advisers must be personable, easy to work with and share the company ethos of treating customers fairly and offering an excellent service at all times.
You must have full CeMAP (or equivalent) and hold current competent adviser status (CAS).
