Choice & flexibility

At Tenet Network Services, unlike some other networks, we don't force you to adopt a particular business model such as stipulating you need to be restricted or use particular funds through a vertically integrated model. With us, you have choice and flexibility to decide what is best for you and your clients.

Independent or restricted advice

Tenet is leading the way with independent financial advice, and we are committed to continuing to do so for years to come, a point of difference we are proud of. So, if offering unbiased advice is important to you and your clients, through our award-winning network you will have access to a wide range of support, including quality whole of market research and compliance, all of which is designed to help your business thrive.

If, however, you prefer to operate a restricted advice model, giving you and your advisers a time-saving track to run on, we can help you build your own Centralised Investment Proposition, or you can use our 'off-the-shelf' restricted proposition.

Occupational pension transfers and equity release

Some networks have stopped supporting key advice areas such as defined benefit pension transfers and equity release. Tenet is different. We actively support advisers so they can give advice which is suitable for their clients, and have invested in resource to support the increased demand since the launch of pension freedoms.

If, however, you choose not to operate in these areas, you can still ensure your clients get the advice they need, by utilising our referral services.

Quality compliance support

Our wealth of experience in dealing with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) enables us to deliver compliance support which is approachable and proactive in an ever-changing regulatory environment. We interpret and condense the FCA requirements and deliver clear compliance guidance, support and practical tools to enable you to run your business effectively and compliantly.

At Tenet we offer a fresh approach to financial planning support where we carry out the complex and time-consuming activities, enabling you to focus on building new advice and service propositions to support your client needs and, crucially, client retention. Whether you choose to go down a restricted or independent advice route, our proactive product and fund research service, covering both vanilla and esoteric investments, with an experienced team offering ongoing support, is key to meeting the business challenges faced by advisers.

Our technical and research service includes:

  • Comprehensive panels researched from the whole of the market. These are designed on Tenet's uniquely designed methodologies and cover a wide range of both individual, corporate and trust solutions
  • If you choose to take the restricted route, you can utilise our off-the-shelf solution or we'll help you build a Centralised Investment Proposition (CIP)
  • Easy access to the approved panels via a bespoke version of Defaqto's Engage solution
  • Regular communications to update you on panel changes and guidance on market developments that impact on financial advice

All of this is supported by unreserved access to our Technical Services & Research helpdesk, where our team of experts can support your day-to-day needs.

You will have access to the full range of system features as part of your membership. However, you can use your own CRM system if you wish, as long as advice events are still recorded on our system.

At Tenet Network Services, we provide a range of business development solutions which are designed to add value and income to your business.


Our marketing support brings you a wide range of compliant marketing and client communication solutions, such as newsletters, brochures, leaflets, posters and adverts, all of which are designed to give you a professional look to your brand and promote your business. Most of the support is available as free of charge to members, but we also work with external suppliers who specialise in providing services to financial advisers for services such as websites and newsletters.

We make it quick and easy to use the marketing support. We add your logo and contact details for you and sort the compliance approval.

Adviser Recruitment Service

If you're looking to grow your business by recruiting advisers, we can help by using our expertise and doing the legwork for you, saving you a significant amount of time and cost. We’ll advise you on the best way to get the people you need, and organise the activities to help find and recruit the right candidates.

Events & training

We will help keep you on the front foot and be aware of the latest market and product developments. Tenet runs an annual programme of CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) accredited events and training, which includes:
